As far as I can tell, the only reason the US was interested in Ukraine was to protect Obama and Biden's interest in it. I'm no fan of Russia, but neither Russia nor Ukraine deserve our support. I think what we will see is that with Trump as POTUS this war will end rapidly.

The Ukraine people lived under Communist rule for decades. You, nor I know what that even means. I admire the Ukrainian people and their continued resistance against the Communist invaders.
Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum when the communist regime actually invaded Ukraine back in 2014. You are familiar with that agreement, right? I’m betting not, just as 90% of the American public. And no one cares. And yet, our own freedom and future depends on this current war. BTW, the Democrats only portray that they support Ukraine. Biden has always been an asset for both the Chinese and the Russians. They fool you and most Republican faithful believing they’re all in to help Zelensky. And yet, that support has been slow….slow…by design. So let’s not play the “well Democrats are for Ukraine, so we Republicans should be against supporting them”…keep on believing Russian shills like media personality Tucker Carlson, or Colonel Douglas Macgregor or convicted pedophile, and former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter.
Bottom line? Americans should back any country that is fighting against Communist encroachment or possible rule. South America is slowly being turned into Communist controlled countries and yet no one knows or cares. Americans believe we are immune from infiltration or invasion.
Read Up on the Budapest Memorandum. The U.S., Britain and Russia agreed not to use military force against Ukraine. As a result, Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons. And yet here we are, Russia invaded. This was violated long ago (2014) and nothing was done. The U.S. did nothing.
One last thing. Spare me the spin, the narrative about how corrupt the country Ukraine is. Our own government is THE most corrupt nation in the world.

Yes, this current administration “allowed” Russia to do a lot of things…all the while portraying our (US) support for Ukraine. It was deceptive. Deceptive.
I think I already explained in detail above in my own initial comment. Democrats along with Republican media types are pro Russian.
Sooo, again. I’ll spell it out Democrats want to portray support for Ukraine all the while they drag their feet in any sort of support.

Which ain’t much. Democrats have tried to portray they are 100% supporters of Ukraine and yet that aid hasn’t materialized very fast. In other words, in word only. (I want to spell it out for some people here that can’t seemingly understand plain English).
This whole situation has become 100% politicized. Republicans won’t commit to aid because their opponent Democrat (Communist Party) supposedly support Ukraine.

Most of the “aid” has actually benefited companies right here in the U.S.
I have admired the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian forces and have followed this conflict closely. I remember the graphs and charts comparing the sizes of the two armies, and how many believed that it would be a quick rush to Kyiv, with Russia taking the entire country within days and then facing a guerrilla war. What did Biden say before the invasion? He essentially gave his blessing for a “minor incursion.” I recall the Russian convoy that stalled due to logistics issues on its way to the capital, and Putin's initial frustration when he realized he had bitten off more than he could chew. The Biden administration even offered to help Zelensky flee ahead of Russia's expected occupation of Kyiv, but he chose to stay, fight, and potentially die, thus inspiring his army with his resolve.
Any thoughts Putin may have had about continuing on to conquer neighboring countries are likely just pipe dreams. How long can he sustain a military operation that leads to a stalemate? He is supplementing his poorly trained and equipped conscript army with North Korean troops. He knows that invading Poland or any other NATO country would lead to World War III. Many remember Russia's fate in Afghanistan, but few recall the even higher losses it sustained in the Chechen conflict. The casualties Russia is suffering in Ukraine far surpass those from both of those conflicts, and they are happening in a fraction of the time. Ukraine has become an absolute meat grinder, and they are striking back with conventional military forces inside Russia. While Chechen forces struck within Russia, it was considered a terrorist attack, and they were never able to hold any ground.
Putting aside the questions of fault or politics, the fact remains that Ukrainian soldiers are bravely fighting and dying to defend their homeland from an invading army. They have everything to lose, while the conscripts sent as cannon fodder lack that same motivation and initiative.

Curious….Did you have that same opinion with the years spent in the 20 years of wars via Iraq and Afghanistan?
Why is it that NOW ya demand “full accounting” of aid to a country that is fighting against a real Communist invader, Russia?
