Well here I sit for a third day in N.Carolina feeling like crap. Just came from doc in the box and I have pneumonia. Supposed to be heading to Grand Cayman in 5 days.Had a bud call wanted to hit a few spots on a nearby ranch, well between the cold air and 20 inches of snow and already starting to cough I think I over did it. 2 longest flights of my life the other day, just awful and I don’t like flying anymore anyway. See how it goes day by day. Girlfriend has me locked up
In the guest bedroom, afraid of germs.

I know how you feel I came down with pneumonia the day before the election. That was as sick as I have ever been. Took the first course of antibiotics and ended up going to a pulmonologist and ended up with a three week antibiotic prescription. Took me 45 days to fully mend and lost 10 pounds. Really just now back to normal. Depending on your age pneumonia is nothing to mess with. Assuming they gave you an antibiotic and steroid prescription if you aren’t markedly better after you take all the pills you need to go back to your doctor right away.

Girlfriend has me locked up In the guest bedroom, afraid of germs. She self isolated to the guest room, flu. Feels better now but I got the runs. Doesn't always work.

Has pneumonia around 30 years ago, felt like crept and didn’t eat for a week. I’m thin, after that week I was skeletal.Im a usually healthy 67 year old. When I get back home it’s back to the gym

Not to mention the scar tissue it can create in your lungs. MIL died due to this having had pneumonia many times over the years.

This is rough. Your cells need oxygen to create energy. Without it, your body can't create the necessary energy to feed your cells. You'll probably be feeling lethargic and weak for a while. Take care of yourself. This ain't nothing to play with. I'll pray for your health. Hope you feel better soon.

Proceed with caution and don’t push yourself sir. It’s important to rest and recover. I had the Swine Flu in my early 40’s that went into pneumonia. It was a combined, month long ordeal that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I have athsma as well so things were a bit touchy. As mentioned, it is not something to mess with.

I hope you have a quick recovery. Rest up!

Trying to recover from pneumonia myself right now, know what you are going through. This cold air breathing is a buttkiller right now.Stay out of it as much as you can and GET WELL SOON

I'm 75 and got pneumonia 12/28-finally diagnosed it as such after a week. Took me about a month
I'm sure my age didn't help. I started to feel better and went to a big sport show in Harrisburg , PA 2 Days later I had the flu -bad! Then my wife got it. We're both getting better now but It's nothing to fool with and it beats you up and takes time to recover!
Pay attention to your health!!
Get well soon.
