Been seeing rooting around my house off and on lately. Shot at some a month or so ago and been keeping an eye out. They were here at night a couple of times but didn’t see them.
When I wake up at night if think about them being out there and go look around. Did that about 1am last night but didn’t see any. Got up about 4:30 to go sit a stand at the lease to see what I might see. Took a look around and I could hear them.
Managed to slip close enough to get off a shot. I hoped to get more than one, but only one dropped. Might have hit another one or 2 if I was lucky.
When I got back from the lease I went back for a picture. 2 3/4 #4 buck shot
I baited the trap this evening and I will be checking for them during the night. Can’t count on them getting in the trap.
