I use a tripod stool and can’t imagine using anything else. Lightweight, tiny after it folds up, and with that shoulder strap it’s as easy as can be to carry in. After adjusting a few times setting up it does the job and is a nice match with the Jim Shockey trigger stick tripod for me which I can also carry in easily
