Sandhills of Nebraska

Getting things packed up today and headed to the sandhills in the morning. Haven't been up there to hunt coyotes for 3 years now. I'm super jacked. Weather looks good, good company, no wife, and beer n steaks. What more can a guy ask for. I'd sure post some pics if anybody can tell me how to post them from a smart phone.

I'd like to see some pics from the Sandhills. Lived up by Gordon for a little while.

Scroll down to the Photo Gallery and Photo Hosting Gallery in the list of forums.

Or send your pics via email to Photobucket or another online pic hosting site. Then copy a link from the pic and paste it into your post here.

I hunt a couple times a year near the "start" of the Sandhills near Greeley. My dad's family is from that area and it's always a great time chasing coyotes up there...I love hunting those big pastures as opposed to all the production ground we have here in central nebraska

Great pics.

Love that area. I just wish it was closer than 3-4 hours. I'm gearing up to head out there the 19th and I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping for a bit of snow before then. Usually we station in Bartlett, but I think we'll go farther west this time.

I'm still working on the pics from my trip. I was staying 50 yds off the Dismal river. Coyotes were thick where I was. Wind was screwy but we managed to put fur down. Had multiple shot opportunities. Them sneaky things can come in charging to 150 yds then hit a little cut and be gone. The area we were hunting was more rough and ragged country than your typical rolling hills. But it made for some great spot n stalk. I've never done that for coyotes. Alot of fun if a guy has the style of ground to do so. I always hate leaving.
