Well my oldest passed the weekend long hunters education course and she has been dying to get out and do some calling. We finally snuck out the other morning after breakfast and on the first stand a bobcat walks out perfect broadside shot at 20 yards. She said she could see it in the scope and I gave her to green light and she got the job done. We were both in shock and super excited, she wanted to go home and show family that was visiting and skin it that morning.

Yesterday evening we had some more free time and my daughters were anxious to get out of the house and go hunting. Once again on the first stand we call in and harvest another bobcat, I shot this one has it was trying to give us the slip, my daughter didn’t have a good shot option. Regardless who shot it we were all excited and thrilled to get home to skin it. So we are 2 for 2 this year and 2 bobcats I think I’m going to go ahead and retire this season while we are on top haha. I think it’s safe to say she is hooked!

Wow! You can’t ask for better than that! This is some incredible time well spent right here arielp! The success is one thing… Those smiles are symbols of timeless, priceless, memorable moments that say it all! Congratulations to your daughter. It’s awesome that you’re bringing your girls up the way you are! Good job on your part!

Thank you all very much for the positive comments about the kiddos smiling and being in the hills. I try my hardest to get them in the outdoors as much as possible but we all know how life goes and sometimes things get in the way. Hopefully we can get out again soon because that’s all the girls have been talking about.
