Looking for info from anyone who has a 16 inch barrel Ruger SFAR 308. Mostly interested in recoil while using suppressor. The gun is light how is it for follow up shots. Mostly interested in using it to shoot running pigs.

Ok, all my experiences are off a tripod so it may not be what you’re looking for. I shoot 165gr CoreLokts and when shooting I don’t really notice a “recoil” issue. As far as sound being suppressed, yeah it sounds suppressed.
Here’s a video where I held back on going shot crazy and a little overwhelmed when after the initial shot some pigs were running REAL close to me, lol. Maybe that will give you an idea.

And yeah, passed up a shot back towards the truck and a bunch more waiting for a standing shot. Looking back I could’ve let loose and probably dropped several more pigs. I’d love to find some in a field and just go crazy, but I get paid for what I find and confirm vs what I hit.
