Maybe, before you tear into your magazine, load your mag, chamber a round, then drop out your mag, look at your remaining rounds, are they pointed down, nosedive? If so, slap your mag and try and move them back in position, with the shell bases all against the rearward side of the mag. If they lined back up, try running your action again and see if it loads a round with no trouble, recheck mag, I have had issues like this, I found out, when I would load my first round out of the mag, it will drag my second round out of position. I took mag apart, compared it to 2 other mags, I did not see a problem, so, I just have gotten in the habit of checking my mag after I charge the first round, slap the back to make sure they are correct, and it solved a large percentage of the feeding problem. That same issue raised its head on my Tikka rifles, I backed my mag capacity down 1 round, cured the problem, but I still drop my mag and check it every time...We all know the first shot counts and nothing sucks more than a feed problem but finding an issue with the mags didn't happen. Sorry for the long message, side note, purchased metal mag. for my tikka, no luck, same issue, I set it on my toolbox, and it is still there.
