Have any of you seen Rattlesnakes or Copperheads in January in Arizona?

Last January I noticed that the Temperature at midday was close to 70 degrees and was wondering if this is warm enough to get a snake out of the ground for a little sunning?

Arizona doesen't have any Copperheads.
It is the ground temperature that is not 70 degrees yet.
Down on the border this week, it was 14 degrees in some areas. That keeps them in their holes.

Born and raised there.

There are 18 kinds of venomous snakes in AZ, but none of them are copperheads. This time of year temperatures are cooler and photoperiods are shorter, so AZ snakes are "brumating". That's similar to hibernating, except they may wake for short periods on warm days.
