What is your favorite bullet for Varmint and what is your favorite deer/antelope bullet? As far as varmints, I'm looking for something that will be very fur un-friendly

something un fur friendly you will like the nosler 85gr ballistic tip or the 75gr vmax. i load for a buddy and he shoots the 85gr bt and he shot a yote with it and it left a softball size exit.

Its the only predator bullet I use in my 25-06. It leaves big wet nasty holes....or just tears parts off. There is a reason they are called TNT

My 25-06 Rem. shoots Barnes 100 gr. TSX bullets at deer,
and maybe some day antelope. The Tikka M-695 gray laminate/ss
is a bit to pretty to be dragging around WY for antelope.
As for a 25 cal. bullet that dispatches varmints/predators
is a fur unfriendly way, I highly recommend the Nosler 85 gr.
ballistic tip. It gives new meaning to red mist.

Nosler 100gr Partition has been my go to bullet for deer and goats. Used to use 75gr Vmax for yotes, but they are NASTY on pelts!

I shoot the 87g Speer tnt with 56.0g of IMR 4650, and win primer in a Win case. This load detonates a coyote.

90g Sierra BTHP is also a very nasty bullet on yotes.

Work up to these loads in your rifle.

85g NBT in the 25-06 is made for coyotes.

Case full of RL19, 3600-3700fps, 1/2 MOA, what more do you want?

TNTs were not near as explosive as NBT's in my experience, I was actually VERY dissappointed in the way they didn't blow things up, for me anyways.

That is very interesting, goes to show you how lot# can vary. I tried the 85g Nosler's first, this barrel would not shoot them...I was disappointed to say the least...you don't know....till you know.

Shot a lot of .25 cal bullets in my day... none of them sling goo like the 85 NBT. I've seen pieces of the same rockchuck 40+ yards apart. I also saw the off side leg of a coyote fly about 50 feet one day... on a broad side shot. Fur friendly? Not on your life... but they sure bring a smile to my face when they smack into stuff.

For big game there's a plethora of bullets that will kill any deer on the planet... I like the 100 and 115 NBTs... but the 115 Berger has been getting a lot of play for the past couple of years. The 100 TSX (and TTSX) is never a bad choice, and the 100 Hornady Flat-base is another great game slaying pill...

I shoot a 257 Roberts and have used 85 gr BT, 100 gr BT, 110 gr AB and 115 gr PT on coyotes. They all work well but to answer your question, the 100 gr BT is a great combo bullet.
