Looking at getting a Ruger American Gen 2 in 6mm Creedmoor.
Wanted to see if any of you have any opinions on this rifle as I have heard a lot of good, but also some bad about it not feeding well.

I have a .308 in Gen 2 and haven’t used it much, but no issues so far.
Have a Gen 1 and Predator in .308 and no issue in the Gen 1 but did have some feeding issues with the Predator after a while. The bullets just get “stuck” in the mag. A good “bump” will push them up, but it’s not something you want to be doing while getting on a second target.
I’m in the process of moving everything off the Predator to a new Go Wild .243. I’ll let y’all know if it ever gives me issues.

I have a Gen 2 in 6.5 Grendel, Ive shot it alot and have never had any issues at all. I think the feeding issues were in the Gen 1 for the most part.

I had a Grendel and it shot very well with handloads. I have a 300 BO now and it shoots good to. No problems with either to speak of. Pretty solid rifles for the money. I think the Gen II is actually a better rifle than the first Gen. At least in appearance.
