Last night started off like it was gonna be a good night of calling. first stand I started off with female sore howls and coyotes responded almost instantly, i let the x24 finish the sequence of howls and paused for a min or 2 then went into foxpros yips and whimpers and immediately seen a coyote coming hard so I dropped the scanner and got on my rifle... my buddy with me has night vision scope and was little slow on finding them and I was worried that they was about to wind us before he had scope on them so I told him I was gonna shoot before they both took off.. 120 yard shot female dropped instantly with 105gr blitzking from 6.5 and the other took off in overdrive. Didn't have foxbang turned on and I couldn't get it to stop before it disappeared, tried calling it back but I all got was a booger barking coyote that was out of sight... we made 4 more setups and blanked on every one, didn't even hear a single coyote from the distance so around 3am we decided it was time to head back to the house
