NY Coyote Down

Had a little dry spell this month, but seems the dogs are moving with the warmer/drier weather coming in.
Hurt one of my hands, so I reluctantly went on call/spotter duty after blowing what should've been an easy shot at a dog on Friday the14th.
Limited to use of one hand I could only carry my rifle on a stalk of a dog we spotted in a field traveling between stands, so I left the tripod and common sense in the truck and attempted an offhand shot.

My buddy didn't disappoint with his enhanced Impulse predator 22-250/NocPix H50R in the humid foggy weather Sat Pm.
Wind was swirling, but three dogs came in on a string.
The lead big male was dropped at 148 yards and the other two vanished after the shot.
The other big male that was dropped earlier in the month is in the top left area of the pic.
We're behind in numbers this year, but it's not for lack of trying.
We have sightings on trail and bait pile cams so we know dogs are in the area, but for six days of hard hunting on a dozen properties we saw and heard squat.
