New Lucky Duck Revolt playing the wrong sound file

Hi guys my Revolt is barely 2 weeks old and last night I went coyote hunting and when i made my set/stand, due to the wind i set up with my caller about 175-180 yards away, its was in perfect view nothing between us whatsoever. I had it off the ground about 3 feet and i was set up on a little bank maybe 10-12 feet higher then the caller. When i tried to play a howl sound file it would only play the crow sound file. Then i tried a distress rabbit call and a geese honking sound file played! Was these errors causes by being to far from the caller or is there something else that's causing this to happen?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Heymartay, the reason i thought maybe it was due to the distance between me and the caller was when i came home and tried the caller again. It worked fine with the caller 5-6 feet away. But still i was somewhat disappointed that this expensive caller would act this way.

The owners manual for Revolt states that the remote range is up to at least 100 yards and depending on conditions may far exceed that.

Never thought I would want my caller that far away. When I use an e-caller it is nearly always within shotgun range. Even when using a rifle the caller is seldom more than 40 yards away. But I hunt mostly steep hills and heavy timber or brushy creek bottoms. Occasionally I hunt mixed cover farmland with open pastures. When I hunt farms I am still using any available cover for the coyote to approach with more confidence and the caller is pretty close to me. Different strokes I guess...

My Revolt will not work that far, actually do not want mine that far out.Keep mine 50 to 60 yards with no problem.A little elevation seems to help also

I wish my FoxPro would work to 100 yards. Mine is unreliable when on the ground past 35 yards, typically plowed snow covered ground. If I hang it off the ground, 50 ish yards.

Yeah... That's a long ways out for sure. I'm not familiar with the Lucky Duck callers so I'm not going to be much help with the why's. An inquiry to Lucky Duck will probably be your best bet. Good luck!

Did you buy/download any new sounds to it? My foxpro is doing something similar after I added some new files. Went to a bear cub distress on a stand and coyote noises started playing instead. A fella on YouTube said the files can get corrupted if you add stuff and unplug the wire in the wrong sequence.

The first thing I do when I get my calls is print out(I like the physical copy in my hand) all the sounds...
then I go through and confirm.

I've had my call of a different brand wayyyyy over 200 yards away.

They all fall under the possibility of interference- that FCC label on all these calls says so...

There is also the possibility when new files are downloaded...they have the same number as a previous downloaded file. So there is a possibility that say new sound #200 is male howls and old sound file labeled #200 is elk bugle actually do not get changed....ya it happened to me. So I deleted ALL the unnecessary animal sound files.
