New Caliber or Not

So I have this Savage in 308 right now, also have a skinny 223 barrel.
So my choices:
Should I just be happy, or?
Get a bit heavier 223 barrel.
Get a 6 Creedmoor barrel.
Or?
Sell the Savage and get a short action Rem 700?
I do already have a Ruger Predator 6 Creed

Well you already have a 6 Creed so I'd scratch that one. Keep what you have and just buy a new rifle!!

If you enjoy building rifles switch the barrels on the Savage, you already have the barrel. Sounds like an interesting project. I saw a .440 bolt face for sale cheap. i might buy it, I hear a slow twist 22 ARC calling my name from next summer.

Sell the 223 barrel (or not). Buy a 220 Swift barrel. More speed than the 223 and uses the same bolt face as the 308.

So does the 22-250 and 22 CM and both have more common brass and can be made from pretty much any .473 brass in a pinch.

Well,
I just put an older Remington 700 in 308 on layaway. I Will most likely rebarrel that to some sort of 6mm caliber.
Going to rebarrel the Savage back to .223
