savage A17,17wsm miss fires, (firing pin to short?) also after 20 or 25 shots, role pin, that retains the firing pin will brake

I know my hmr (not savage) will misfire on occasion. If I rotate the case or even just recock and fire again they usually go off. Just figured it to be a liquid primer problem more than light strikes.

Only problem I've had with the one I bough was the scope base screws worked loose about half way through the hunting season. I think I had fired about 500 rounds total at that point. Like any rim fire there are the occasional fail to fire rounds, so far did fire the second time. Haven't had any pins break.
