Got out monday night, had some good vocals off in the distance, ton of deer in the field.
spotted something coming through the corn stubble that the deer were watching, ended up being a bobcat, (not in season here), came into about 40 yards. then left after hanging out for a bit, turned and looked down the lane and here comes a skunk headed straight for me..luckily he decided to go the other way as well, after a bit, I was going to walk back to my truck, look across the road and see a coyotes coming from the next field over, he came past my truck then headed out into the field off to my right, I cut the distance a bit put the caller back out, tried a bunch of different distress sounds, finally found one he liked and he bee lined in, got em at about 75 yards.

Very cool video of that cat Rotty. You're the second person this week to show me images of a cat in lower Michigan. Probably means there's more of them around. A Michigan cat is a bucket list item, for me, for sure. Hopefully, before my days are up, the stars will align and I'll get my chance.

I've called in 2 in the past week and have em almost everyday on my camera

The last time I was out calling was Feb. 27 and I'm pretty confident I had a bobcat out with me in the field I was calling. Positive it was a cat, but it didn't have much for a tail. It disappeared once I started playing vocals. Obviously out of season where I was in Barry county (cause there's not a season in Barry), but I think it's ridiculous we can't hunt them at night in MI.
