First set last night, 48 degrees & 58% humidity, 6-8 mph wind from the east.

Humped up the hill in the bean field, & while going down the other side, stopped to scan several times.

Last stop where I could finally see the woods, there goes Mr Coyote heading for the trees.....dammit.....

Made the set at the buffer strip of grass, at the top of the bean field, facing south, caller to my NE on the edge of the waterway.

Took about 15 minutes for her to show.

No idea if it was the same one I saw coming in, but it took her way over five minutes to finally work her way through the woods and step in the open.

Nice adult female.

Shot was 100 yards with the 6x68 SPC, 70gr Blitzkings at 3200.

I knew she was gonna leave the cover cause you posted it, but was wondering if it was going to be tomorrow--cautious indeed.

The wind was directly right to left down the fence line, so she was heading straight into it.

I had the caller about 40 yards up on my side of the waterway, which is 10-15' wide, & found it odd that she exited the woods on the upwind side.

As usual, I took the 1st good shot offered, less chance of things going sideways.
