If you havent tried the lithium 9v for the remotes that use them, put it on your list! They charge with USBC and make the remote always have a nice bright screen even below freezing. I think i got two of them for 9 bucks on amazon. Three days calling and it recharges in 2 minutes

i havent used them in my calling equipment *yet* but i have a couple that i use at work for my multimeter. always good to have a spare so when i have to swap one out (susually to me being a knucklehead and forgetting to turn it off) its a quick recharge in the truck on my phone charger, and then back into the toolbox!

i also have lithium AAA's i use the same way for other testing equipemtn (my non contact thermo, and my non-Contact voltage tester).

Lithium is the future! I love the AAs for call as well. I do keep a spare set of AA and 9V in my call bag, but its so nice to not have to worry about the batteries at all when hunting. I can call all day and just toss the batteries on the charger when i get home and they are usually charged by the time i get all my gear put away and sit down for dinner. Lately I've been running a decoy as well and still havent noticed any reduction in run time. I swear my call is louder on lithium as well, but nobody else says they notice it. The lithiums run at a higher voltage than alkaline or nicad rechargeables.
