My remote gets tethered to my chest rig for walking, but I clip it to a loop of paracord on my tripod when setup and calling. Foxpro TX1000 remote. Screen and keypad brightness is as low as it goes. Set to red/nighttime mode. It gets laid face down in a tripod basket.
