Lanyard for Foxpro X24

Hello Everyone,
I ended up buying a Foxpro X24 caller and was looking for a lanyard that I can attach at both points on the body of the caller itself. I will sometimes have to carry things a ways when making a stand and it would be great if I could just sling the caller over my shoulder. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I went with this neoprene call cover from Reese Outdoors. I hated how the hard plastic caller housing was really loud if it scrubbed up against brush and saplings. It’s shape really amplifies the noise and the neoprene cover quiets things down nicely. It has a carry handle and 2 D-Ring attachment points for a strap. I had this one lying around and it’s working fine.

Check this section out. I had posted about custom lanyards a week or so ago…
Yotarunner recently posted he makes them as well. He posted a call lanyard pic there that he did recently.

I just used a shoulder strap I had laying around for a hunting chair or something like that. It has 2 plastic clips that attach to the X24. My only complaint is the clips hitting the call while I'm walking making a plastic on plastic clicking sound. I wrapped the clips with some camo duct tape and solved that problem. I'm sure others will have some good ideas; this just works for me with something I had laying around. I will say that you're on the right track, shouldering the call into your set is the way to go IMO.

Thanks for the shout-out. I don't currently have any lanyards for callers though I have a design in mind that has been on the to do list. if I get time il whip up a prototype and see what guys think.

where can i buy ?
If you’re asking about the neoprene cover it can be purchased here. However, I do not know if they ship internationally?

An alternative option is a similar cover from Boondock Outdoors

Is anybody that uses the covers concerned with the neoprene holding your scent more so over the bare plastic?

I haven’t noticed any difference since using it but I suppose it’s a valid point to some degree. I’ve still had them stick there nose right in it with the cover on while running pup distress. Proper setups and positioning eliminate a lot of concerns.

I've tried a few different methods to have my X24 on a sling of some type. A Magpul MS1 two-point sling with the quick adjust slider has worked best for me. I can sling it across my body and it won't bounce around. The ability to quickly tighten or loosen the sling with the slider is nice.

I've been alright @hm1996 . Having a pretty cold winter in Michigan and not many coyotes. Made two stands tonight and saw nothing. I ended up buying a braided lanyard from "Life is now outdoors" and I really like it. It does everything I need it to.
