Live and hunt in Georgia. Unless hunting a clear cut or powerline, mostly wooded areas. While coyote hunting, I normally carry a backpack with my caller, a Bog Adrenaline tripod, a folding stool, and either a monopod or shooting sticks. The Adrenaline is aluminum, but only weighs 3.5 pounds. It has a standard yoke for a rest, but is very stable. I use this when hunting clear cuts when I anticipate longer shots. Also at night, as my setups provide longer shots and I am not as concerned with concealment.
When hunting wooded areas or thick stuff, I use the monopod or shooting sticks (if at all) as I need to adjust quickly for shot angles. In those situations, the tripod stays in the backpack.
