imr vs hodgdon powder (700x)

So I finally found some pistol powder today (it did cost me a arm and a leg). It is a 4lb jug of Hodgdon hi skor 700x. that's right HODGDON 700x not imr 700x. are these the same powder? I have always wondered if other powders are the same like imr 4831 and h4831. I did a little searching on the web and some people say they are and some say they have different burn rates and that they are made in different countries. so im interested to hear your guy's experience with them if any. thanks in advance.

Agreed. Some powders are the same and some are not, the Hodgdon reps will be glad to help you out with the particular powder/s in question ive called them before fot info and they've been helpful to me.
