Hunting Coyotes Before Rain

What’s your thoughts on hunting cloudy days/evenings before rain?

The weather for Friday looks cold and cloudy. Winds about 12-14MPH. The rain comes in Friday around midnight and will continue through early Saturday morning.

I have to drive about 2 hours to my best set of spots, so I can’t decide if it’s worth going this weekend or wait for (possibly) more clear weather next weekend. I feel I need to get these sets called sooner rather than later so I can come back Mid January and call them again.

Thoughts?

I always look at the humidity, am I gonna be able to see enough to make it worth it? Of course our humidity down here may be a little worse than other places before a rain.

I'd go, you never know it might be the best day of the year and getting to your stands will be silent. I hunted the PNW for years if a coyote didn't hunt food in the rain, they would starve to death. ,

PNW Rain... LOL . man It been dumping rain all day here, Pouring rain tonight, and be even worse tomorrow. But... nothing better for impact visuals than when you see the water explode off a soggy wet soaked Coyote.
