Hey CAL

Okay... I'm back! Lol... I just purchased 4 of the Cal's coyote vocals and they sound great! Really like the sound of "Territorial" and I will be opening sets with that the next chance I get. That is exactly the stuff I like to open with at this stage of the game!

There are no previews as has been pointed out, but those in the know can get an idea of what they are just from the titles Cal has picked. I don't think anybody will be disappointed. I think they do have a uniqueness to them and a sound of their own. A little pricey, but after all the other piles of cash we spend on this sport, it's a drop in the bucket! Lol...

today i bought all 8 sounds.
I put it in my Foxpro X24 and I'm ready to go tomorrow night when I go hunting.
I listened to it now and it sounds very good to me.

Now you got me thinkin also Duhh. Thought I had way tooooo many sounds as it is, but I can see more $ spent. Cal's reputation precedes him. Just hope those sounds work this far East with our population densities (or lack thereof).

Haha, I’m happy to spend your money for you anytime.

I think zoran’s going to show us just how far east these sounds will work.

Mike, I have no doubt in my mind that the “Territorial” sound will work here. It perfectly captures exactly what I described in my post about being flexible with your calling just a day or two ago.

If that sound doesn’t trigger a territorial response for you, I’ll reimburse you! Lol.

I appreciate the updates and good reports. The new prairie dog sounds are killers also. They are the best prey distress sounds I have probably ever produced. Although "Cals Cottontail" has been a killer for years in Foxpros library. The new prairie dog sounds have been tested and proven to work, and they were a sound I had wanted for years. In my opinion there just wasn't a super good prairie dog distress out there. Now there is!

I have had great results using Foxpro's Prairie Dog in Distress sound where I call coyotes at and there are no Prairie Dogs within 500 miles of here.

Don't hesitate on using Cal's Prairie Dog distress sounds in areas that there are no Prairie Dogs.

Has anyone else been able to test out any of these sounds lately?
It's been pretty quiet on here, but I'm getting messages and emails pretty much every day of success stories. The up side to all of these sounds is they have been tested a ton before they were ever released and I knew they were good ones before I released them. I have a computer full of the ones that didn't make the cut. I am anxious to hear a report from Zoran if they work on jackals.

I have put the 4 sounds I have to the test here in central NY in the last weeks of our season with some very positive results. If they haven’t resulted in actual call ins, they have triggered responses very consistently. I may be in a perfect storm scenario though , in that our winter was pretty brutal with very deep snow and insanely high winds, so my spots were virtually untouched all season long. My coyotes may just not be acting like “Late season, pressured” coyotes?

I Will without a doubt say they are 100% effective at calling in coyotes and triggering responses. Great series of coyote vocals in my opinion.

Not a good time of year to evaluate (in my area March is 'pressured out' OR they just don't talk/come to the call much) but in the last 2-1/2 wks. I have made 21 sets on 5 nights with these vocals and had only 1 vocal response a long way off to "where you at". I have never used the "territorial" sound
because I didn't get any answers that I thought I was in their "bubble'.
Very nice, clear sounds that I am sure will have different results next fall.

I've been getting good response to "Where You at" the last few nights. And have killed several with the prairie dog distress sounds as a follow up. Too windy tonight, and a storm coming in here.
