Hammer bullets

I’ve been looking at some bullet options for my 6.5 CM. I did some research on Hammer bullets, and so far, everything has been positive. Does anyone have experience with them? I’m looking to work up a load for deer & antelope.
Thank you

Hammers are GREAT!!!!
Just a few things to remember with all copper bullets. First DON'T crowd the rifleling, they need a jump. With copper to use the same weight bullet you may need more twist, they're a LOT longer. And always remember to clean out ALL the copper fouling from regular Cup and core bullets, for whatever reason copper bullets don't like other copper fouling.
Now back to Hammer. They are made to penetrate, the 4 pedals that form when they hit the animal will break off to let the stump penetrate. I have never had a well-placed bullet fail to kill cleanly. Also, most chamberings and weight bullets shoot 50 to 150 fps FASTER than other equal loads. Lastly, almost all copper bullets are very accurate but you want to push them FAST. Get a test pack and load some up there that are outstanding.
One more thing, I find that they are always in stock.

Thank you Bradbrass. I have experience with Barns bullets in 300 WM. Shot an Oryx last feb in south Texas. Shot just behind the left side ribs, broke right shoulder. Never found the bullet.
I would like to try a 99 gr HH in my 6.5 CM. Hoping for 3,100fps (20” suppressed barrel). Do the Hammers create more internal damage than Barnes? I’m not worried about penetration, rather bullet upset.
What Hammer bullets in what calibers have you used?

"What Hammer bullets of what caliber have you used?"
WOW, way too many.
375 hh, 8mm rm, 358, 338x378, 7mm rm, 280 IA, 270, 3006, 7x57 AI, 6.5 Creed, 6mm rem, 243, 22/250, 223/556, 6 arc, 300 BO. And more I just can't think of. Not that we use them in all of them, but the "High Valume" rounds like for P dogs, gophers, and such they're are just too $$$ to go shoot 300 in a day. All shoot better with hammers and faster with ANY powder.
