Friday night female

We killed this female tonight. We howled and one coyote answered from our 10 o'clock and this one answered from our 1 o'clock. a couple more howls back and forth and we switched to a coyote fight sound. She popped out at the far wood line and started crossing in front of us. I thought she was going to keep going so I bark stopped her at about 175yds. We double tapped her, She hobbled a few yds and we put a couple more rounds in her. DRT.

.223 62 gr federal fusion. They do a pretty good job but sometimes I wish I was using a different caliber. We do have a few runners/no recovery every year.
