Foxpro Customer Service

I ordered a foxpro on 12-27-04 and was told it would take 3 weeks maximum to get to me. First I called after the 3 weeks and I was told they were working on it and it would be in my hands within the next 3 or four days because I paid for next day shipping. Now A little over a week later I call them and they told me it was going to be another 2 weeks before they are even going to start my order. !!! I'm not sure if it is miscommunication within the company or just bad business practices but I think it is rediculous to pay that ammount for a caller and be told it would get to you in a certain amount of time and have it end up taking over a month and a half. Now that I'm done bitching I wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem??

I don't know if everyone is having the mis-information problem you are having, but everyone is having to wait. Last I heard they were backed up by 900 units and counting. I have not ordered one yet because I know the wait is really long right now and I don't want to be like that little kid at Christmas waiting for it to arrive. Once I order it I want here by yesterday, if I wait to order it I can deal with it better because I'm not expecting it to arrive. I know....it sounds strange.

I ordered my caller on Dec. 10th, the deadline to have it by Christmas. I called to add a bag to my order on the 14th and was told the order did not get turned in until the 13th and they didn't know when it would be ready, after I jarred the guys memory he said he would take care of me and I had it in my hands on the 23rd. I'd call that great customer service.

When you have to deal with outside sources for components and have a backlog of orders it sucks but miscommunication can and will happen. I actualy sent mine back yesterday because of a problem with the remote that started Saturday, they are working on a different remote and I believe they will take care of any problems. If it takes a while to get it back what does it matter? I've killed many coyotes before I had a FoxPro and I'll keep on killing them with handcalls until they get it back to me. Yes I paid alot of money and would like to have something to show for it but I'm not going to just sit in the house and fume over it, they're doing all they can do and that's all anyone can expect, besides they don't charge your credit card till it ships.

The caller is worth the money and the wait.

Foxpro's business practices are beyond reproach. It sounds like a communication problem, or a component availability issue that would cause a longer than normal delay. I feel your pain in wanting your caller. As you have been told, they are worth the wait. There's a reason they're backlogged so much. If you're really upset and can't wait, I'm sure you could call one of the other companies...I'm not sure when you would get one of those calls, but I bet they don't do near the volume of business that would result in a wait...After five minutes of playing with it, you'll agree it was worth it.

Hi Skunkylure,

What we are actually working on is not a new remote, but a revised keypad on our remotes. One of the biggest problem with our current keypads is that they offer no tactile feedback, and with thick gloves on, they are hard to operate. We are working with another keypad manufacturer to come up with a keypad that has tactile feedback. Once these are ready(at this point, my best guess is 6-8 weeks), we will offer a free upgrade to the new keypad for those that want it. I will do the best I can to keep you up to date. Thanks!

I ordered 3 416's on Dec.30th and I have been told that due to the large number of units ordered during Dec. that it would be around feb 5th before mine would ship. The one I bought in September came in just a week or so but I gave it to my dad . I do not mind waiting for what is obviously one of the best products of its type on the market.

For: TOM64-
I ordered mine through GameCalls.net on Dec. 22nd. The MasterCard statement laying on my countertop was charged the FULL amount Dec. 29th. And, no I don't have the unit yet, either. Gregory

I've been around the world about three times and I'll tell you all but once I have never had the kind of customer support from any company that I have had with FOXPRO.

I mentioned it once to Mike that I wanted the new decoy they were going to offer when it came out, well low and behold about (6) weeks later the phone rang and my wife said it was Mike, from FOXPRO.

well my mind started the Oh!(ewfeif) mode what did I do wrong? Well He Mike, was just calling to tell me my decoy was boxed up ready to go and just wanted to verify some delivery issues.......NEED I SAY M /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif ORE!

Dotzero, this is a foxpro customer service post and all comments I made were straight from foxpro's mouth as their policy, if you ordered it from someone else that's a different horse. I stand by my post and I'll stand by foxpro!

Foxpro's customer service is the best I've experienced for any product.

I will not be ordering any more products from Gamecalls.net. They tell you through e-mail that they've "processed" your order but fail to mention that it is backordered. That's a lousy way to do things.

I apologize to anyone that was billed too early. We were told in late December that it was taking 1.5 to 2 weeks to ship the units out so that's why we were billing within one week of the purchase. I will gladly refund the full amount to those who are having to wait for extended periods. ALLEGANREM17, I am sorry you weren't contacted about the back order situtation on the PG-1 adapter you ordered.

If you have been following just about any forum on Predator Masters(and others),you know of the overload of orders that FoxPro has been experiencing in the past few months. It doesn't make much difference who it is ordered from, there will likely be a delay in getting a custom built caller and you know it before you order one.Game Calls doesn't know the exact date your order will ship as it is shipped directly from FoxPro after it is built. Please guys,BE PATIENT and a little understanding of the issues.Oh,ya,I received an additional e-mail from Game Calls that my order would take longer than the original two week wait. They are OK in my book.

KYOTIKID, I thoroughly understand my situation with the order I placed with Gamecalls.net. My order was for a stocked item not customized. I'm happy for you getting the customer service that I did not.

Gamecalls.net, thank you. Apology accepted.
