Fog and a Big Moon

Out couple nights ago, Moon was Big but I did not care, needed to get out of the house. Out in the AG property I pulled into a good layer of ground Fog moved-in that was about 10 or 12 feet off the deck. but above the layer was crystal clear Sky.
A really slight breeze moved-in 2-3 mph less than hour latter, it moved some out with just leaving a slight haze. Scanning gets a lot better, and now I look back behind me a good 1-k yards on the Therm. and there is a Hot Spot Popping on top this one side of 'Mountain' of wood chips. We talking BIG pile of wood chips they use for root bedding in this blueberry rows-field that about 2 mile walk around it's circumference.

Pretty High Humidity, Scanning long distance is sucking, and the little breeze quit and the thicker soup comes back . I start walking back towards the hot spot on top that giant pile of Chips. I get about 500 yards off and I figured out it was a Coyote perched up there. The Bastard was up there watching for activity sitting above all ground layer of fog .
The Fog ground layer that I having hard time peering through with Therm. Coyote's scanning vision lot better sitting above it because the Big Moon is illuminating above cutting threw surface layer, and helping Coyote see shapes and movements on the ground. I pretty much bet he was probably up there watching most of my movements from the time I stepped out of my truck. geared-up, and walked off away from his position behind me.
My LRF was NOT functioning for crap in fog, but I guess I probably got about 300- 400 yard to that mountain of chips and I seen him bolt down one side looking with Therm. and he was gone.

No date and time? You must be retired, lol. I keep looking at mine trying to figure out how much sleep I’ll get before getting up to go to work. I keep telling myself I can function with 6 then 5 then 4 then I just figure I’ll take a nap when I get off today!!

That is weird that the unit shows year 1970. I never even noticed that till I posted this Pic. and seen it.
Most times I know what year AD that I living in anyway so that no biggie, and I got a few Tritium watches I wear hunting at night hunting, and that what I look at to track time when I out in the fields . I not really a chaser of inboard features in night optics. i will pop a Pic, once while, but i never even bother using the other marketing Fluff like Vid. or Bluetooth.. etc.
