First of the season

It had not been cold enough for me this year until just recently, and the coyotes are starting to look better. So I went out and made this video first coyote of the season.

Thanks 6,
Going to try to hunt more this season. Do more videos if I can figure out these Tactacams they take good videos if I do everything right. Lots of coyotes around this year. This setup works good for me. Really like the trigger stick and death grip combo. Fast and easy to adjust in about any situation.

Thanks 204,
Hope I have a lot more and better ones to come. Would like to get some good doubles and triples on video.

Thanks Clarence
Having five bypasses the first of April was an eye opener.
Need to do more of the stuff that I love. Went out this morning and the rack on my bike broke. Gonna be fixing it today so I can go out tomorrow.

What really helps is the time it saves. Everything is on the bike, sticks, call, chair, and rifle. Takes less than a minute to unload and go. On a half mile stand it takes less than five minute to get there. I have laid it down with in a few feet of where I call.

Yeah, I was looking at a mid-drive with 750 watts. Definitely lots of hills so using gears would be important as opposed to the rear wheel drives.

I'm a former bike racer but lifestyle and injuries have slowed me down. Trying to correct both problems so I can enjoy my predator hunting again.

Ever ride it at night?

Friend in Tejas in big country says those E Bikes are the way to go. QUIET and the good ones have a lot of battery life he says. I'm in NC Kansas, so hillier here than out west. Be glad to hear any suggestions you have on getting the right bike. I like to just take off walking, but it's a pain hauling enough gear to get me through the day. The biggest problem is when it's prime hunting time, all that walking then stopping taking my heavy coat off and back on and having to carry it and be ready on the sticks if I jump one. Very seriously considering trying an E Bike.

I live here in Eastern NM, where the ground is mostly flat. When I first got out here, I couldn't figure out how to hide my truck, so I bought me a mountain bike about 2 months ago. Best thing I ever done. It's super quiet, I have rode up within 30 yards of coyotes and cattle. They never knew I was anywhere around. Mine is just a plain mountain bike, not electric. The way they are geared it isn't even hard to peddle around when you do get into the hills.

Don't know if Kansas has these freaking goat head thorns and mesquite thorns or not. Out here they are everywhere and they WILL flatten your tires. What I have done to help with this is, I put slime in the tubes. Then I went to Home Depot and pick up some 3/4 pipe insulation. I put that inside the tire and then place my tube inside that. It gives an extra 3/8 inch protection around your tube. There is a company that make these but I went the cheap route. If anyone is interested I can look it up for you. Anyone has any questions about hunting off of a bike let me know.
