Filming hunts and permission

So a friend of mine runs a somewhat successful YouTube channel filming his hunting exploits, largely coyote hunts. He's possibly coming over to my area to join and film some coyote hunting.
What I'm wondering is when hunting with the intent to film should I be asking landowners before hand if it's ok to do so?
There is no major competition for land up here so I don't worry too much about other coyote hunters trying to poach spots but deer and elk hunters are a whole other matter.
Should I tell guys I'm filming or just take precautions to not announce where I'm at and leave it at that?
Il also add there is no public ground out here.

The respectful thing to do is let landowners know, and assure them you wont be sharing anything that shows the location of their land

Not to sound like a jerk but honestly this shouldn't even be a question! It amazes me this question comes up!

If you bring someone new with you on another person's property the answer should be self explanatory, not getting permission first is a great way to loose hunting spots along with pissing off landowners that could stop everyone from hunting because people simply can't be respectful.....

most the youtubers lie about where there hunting in the first place. But if you like where you are hunting, Do not put it on you tube. of course, I would mention it to landowner. You a guest there and now you're bringing another guest, and that guest is inviting the you tube community. sounds like a good way to lose you privileges. of course, you guys can offer the landowner a cut of the click money. I am big upland hunter and I seen the power of you tube to devastate a hunting area. You got to think what you have to gain by filming in your hunting area.

I would definitely be upfront with the landowner before bringing someone. I have 24/7/365 permission on all my properties I trap except one. If my wife or son even rides to check traps with me I always send a text beforehand just letting them know.
I use cell cams for trapping as well and always get permission before ever placing one. They all know I have my own deer to chase so it’s strictly for predators and hogs. I take pics for proof of everything caught and they’re available to landowners. I get permission before ever posting those on social media as well.
If you have doubts, like this thread, then clear it with the landowner first.

You should always get the permission to take some one on private property that you can hunt on, especially if you are going to film the hunt.

On the ranches we have filmed coyote hunts on, it was made clear that we would not tell the location of the properties or the names of who owned the ranches.

I never go hunt private land without talking to the land owner first. Two of the land owners always just tell me to call and leave them a message, but I won't hunt on their property without talking to them first.

Il clarify there is a few spots I won't take him as my permissions in these spots are for me and whomever I trust to accompany me.

always keep your hunting spots secret !!
Majority of the land I hunt on I am the only coyote hunter allowed so I'm not overly worried. I'm far from anywhere of interest so unless someone wants to drive 4 hours from the city to come get rejected by the landowners be my guest 😂
