1st stand tonight we gave a fox a pass because we had a dead calf in the field and we were hoping for a coyote.
Next stand we set up in a pasture and I selected a male coyote howl for one series then muted the call. Within maybe 30 seconds this female answered straight out in front and we saw her pop out on the knoll. I unmuted the call for a few seconds and she came in committed. We bark stopped her at about 75-80 yds and double tapped her, DRT. Best I can tell she was coming in heat.
