Fast approval time

I submitted a Form 4 Single shot trust on 12-17- 24 and received the approval Email today 12-31-24. I did this one through Silencer Shop. My last suppressor through Silencer Central last year took 9 months.

Difference in the times as I understand. Processing times at the Fed level magically improved in recent months. I continue to be to stubborn to be willing to lay down the extra $200 I thus myself & others around me run greater risk of hearing loss.

Submitting form 4 this morning for 2nd suppressor…10 days from initial purchase for Silencer Shop to OK send email that I’m ready to certify, so very quick considering the Holidays. We’ll see how long the atf takes now.

Got my form 4 approval email this morning…4 business days..go and pick it up in the morning.
Hugely helpful when the dealer has the suppressor in stock. Under 2 weeks not including the holidays.

I bought my second suppressor on Sept 11. Forms went through very quickly, but I didn't get the approval from the ATF until Jan. 6. Like I said in another post, my first one took 11 months so I can't complain too much.

If it wasn't for the extra $200 I would have had already bought two more. I'm just waiting right now.
Almost nothing is in stock atm anyway…if they lose the tax stamp, the wait on back orders will be longer than the approval process. The one I picked up today is not a color I’d normally choose, but it was in the display cabinet.

I agree, but I give the government enough.

I bought one Monday(1/6/25)afternoon about 4:00. I got the approval email this morning(1/8/25) about 10:00. The one before this one took 14 months.

I've bought 4 this summer and the only fast one was the rimfire one.
Harvester Evo -109 days
Griffin GP5-24 days
Silencerco Sparrow <1 day
Second Harvester Evo- 64 days and counting.

I suspect other than wanting to collect the money, the Biden/Harris admin had plans to go out and collect guns in their "2nd" term and getting as many new people on the registry as they can gives them a good idea of where to start...

So I bought two last spring I waited 6 weeks for approval wasent happening. Contacted my senator mark Wayne Mullins got approved 4 days later big thumbs up to him. He contacted the atf on Monday magically got approved Tuesday. So keep that in mind if you are waiting a long time.
