I think the bearing surface is short on the 62. To be able to fit it in a standard mag @2.26” most of the bearing surface is below the neck.It could be done. The new 62 gr is 1.055" long I read, the 77 TMK is 1.07", and those are frequently loaded to mag length, even as a factory round. But that would steal the attention away from their new 22ARC.
I shoot this bullet from my Tikka T3X CTR in 223. The COAL is 2.40 and it's 22 thou off the lands. Still trying it with different powders. Shooting around 1.5MOA but I have other bullets at .45 to .60 MOA so I hope I can get a more accurate load for this one.I understood it's too long to fit in a 223 case and still fit in a standard chamber or magazine.
