Alone 100%. Just go slow and handguns are handy to have. They’ll deter most things here in Idaho. Most. Smaller snakes get stomped on if too close and bigger ones get a big rock. Never ran into any cats or bears, but I’m sure they’re around. Not too worried about wolves, I’ve read they will most likely go out of their way to avoid human contact.
