Howdy all! After a few challenges with the new platform (big thanks to our Webmaster Stu), it's finally time to select the Hunter of the Month for last December. There were some great posts nominated for HOM, so take a few minutes to go back and read these stories. Then vote for your favorite one. The hunter whose story receives the most votes will receive this beautiful open reed hand call from our very own custom call maker Yotarunner of Trophy Country Calls.

Okay folks, the results are in. As you can see in the poll above, Snowshoes was selected as the December 2023 Hunter of the Month with his account of the 7 coyote stand. Congrats Snowshoes, I will be in touch regarding your prize.

According to MS Excel's random number generator, lockrotor will receive the voter prize of the AR-15 brass catcher.

Another item of business. You may recall that in November, member Infidel 762 was selected as the Hunter of the Month. He also won the HOM a few months before that. In both cases, he very generously offered to "pay forward" his prizes (a hand call and then a lanyard) to the next HOM nominee that included a youth hunter. In December, member arielp told the story of his daughter's first full of hunting with him.
