Dead Air Nomad Ti XC vs LTi XC

New to the forum but have been reading on here for a while. Currently having a bolt action built in 22 Creed with 20” barrel. Will have Thermion XP50 on top and will be used for hunting predators and hogs in fields and out of deer blinds. Looking to put Nomad Ti XC or Nomad LTi XC on it. Having a hard time deciding between them. Wanted to see if y’all could help my decision. I have no way of trying or handling either before purchase. Thanks

I have a new DA Nomad LTi XC and it is a crazy quiet can they are very impressive but so is its shorter brother the Ti XC. The LTi XC comes with DA's Xeno brake and mounting hardware. The Ti XC comes with a direct thread end cap. I put a direct thread end cap on my LTi instead of using their Xeno brake setup because it shortens it once installed as well as the direct thread end cap is a couple ounces lighter. I bought DA's direct thread end cap which is steel but I could have got a Ti one from a couple different places that would have saved another once off the steel one I got from DA. I didn't know about the Ti one till after I bought the steel one from DA and they both cost the same.

Personally, I don't think you'll notice the weight difference between the LTi and Ti since it's just not that much but you will notice the length difference and the LTi is definitely a little quieter but it's not significantly quieter. If someone shot with one then the other back to back on the same rifle you would be able to say yep that is quieter but the Ti XC is still very quiet so even though one is a little quieter then the other, for me, it would all come down to length. If you don't mind the extra length go with the LTi if you have so much as a hint of a thought that extra length will annoy you for any reason I'd go with the shorter Ti XC.

If I could only have one rifle suppressor it would be the Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

If I could only have one rifle suppressor it would be the Dead Air Nomad Ti XC leaning towards the Ti XC mainly for the shorter length which I think using it in the deer blinds trying to maneuver it out the windows

Yes I was actually leaning towards the shorter Ti XC because of length. I think it will mostly matter when using it out of the deer blinds trying and trying to maneuver it around in there and in and out the windows. And I don’t need any QD options as it will stay on the rifle so direct thread version is what I’m after. Do you think the Ti XC will be hearing safe?

Not sure it will be hearing safe with a 22 Creed. I have the Nomad 30 and it does knock the noise down a bunch. One or two rounds I highly doubt would cause any issues…but I’m not a doctor. Also, if it is a box blind, just make sure the end of the can is outside and you likely won’t have any discomfort.

You can also get the ebrake for when length isn’t an issue, but noise is.

I have no experience with either of those, but PERSONALLY. I would shop around a little before I'd spend over $1,000 on a suppressor. I bet there are some cheaper ones out there that are just as good.

Check out the DDC Line up.

Yes DDC is the other option I was thinking of going with but they are out of stock now and have been for a while. I’ve asked for availability eta but they do not know.

I have a bolt action 22" 22 Creedmoor with a Nomad LTi suppressor that is mainly used for predators and hogs. I've used it in deer blinds before and didn't feel like it was too long or difficult to move around as needed. I would always tend to go for the longer, quieter suppressor. The first suppressors I ever bought were more medium length, Sandman S, and I've always wished I would've gone with the longer, quieter versions. My buddy has a Diligent Defense Enticer L-Ti and it's really quiet as well on his 22" 22-250 AI...a few hundred dollars less too.

I have the original Nomad Ti, it's my #1 suppressor, and am more than happy with it.

I've shot mine on a 22x47 and 6x47 Lapuas, but only sighting in, so I wore muffs.

However, I hunt with my 22DTI (52's @ 3550), and 6x6.8 SPC ( 70's at 3200) and consider them both hearing safe

I haven't checked on the new models, but the DD cans metered basically the same as the Ti at half the price.

They will be my next if I buy another, probably the Wolf Hunter.

Hopefully Trump shitcans the ATF, aborts the tax stamp, & we have a simple background check.

Everything would be on back order......

Yes my local dealer for DD said they have been backed for 2 years. He has order a few cans in that time and has only received one of them.

Well after enough searching online I found a place that had the Diligent Defense S Ti in stock at a great price so I bought one. Hopefully my turnaround time won’t be too long. Im used to waiting 10-12 months but I’ve heard recently that people are getting approved in just days but I’m sure I won’t get that lucky. Anyways thanks for all the help you guys provided.

Now I need tripod advice so I’m going to make a new post for that. lol
