Dark Colored Male Coyote Last Night, Infiray Bolt

Coyote activity has drastically increased lately at my site. There have been three visiting the bait over the last few days, with two at a time sometimes. One is yet another crippled one, missing a right front paw. Last night I got one of them at 0130 in the morning, a large dark-colored male. He would have made a nice mount but he was rubbed on his back, so he ended up in the bone pile with the rest.

Infiray Bolt TL-35 v2 and the 25-06 and 70 gr. Blitz King at 77 yards. Again, there was no exit on the broadside shot. There was a patch of blood on both sides, but I could not find an entry or exit wound. If it did exit, it was small, maybe oozing blood, but I did not find an actual entry or exit. The Blitz King continues to hammer them.

This one has an unusual black spot half way up his tail. That helped me to distinguish him
from another one, plus there is the crippled one around still.

You're just a killer is all I can say other than congratulations on a well-earned and deserved year with a lot of effort over many years of baiting.
 
Thanks guys. J, you are right that I am recovering from a slow start. Activity has really picked up. I got another one last night too, and there is at least one more, a crippled one hanging around so I plan to hunt again tonight. DoubleUp, I guess I am a killer. Must be something wrong with me. Coyote madness I guess. But, I have a long way to go to catch up to you guys. Your numbers make mine look pitiful.
