Yesterday, I received a call from a lady concerned about a coyote sighting near her chicken coop, reported by her nephew while deer hunting . He was unable to take a shot, prompting her request for my assistance. Undeterred by adverse weather conditions, including rain and strong winds , my goal was to alleviate her concerns. Upon arrival, I initiated calling and , after approximately 20 minutes, successfully lured the coyote. Considering the high grass and downwind approach, I took the sole available shot. targeting the coyote's head. Further calls were unproductive, though I did attract a bobcat with young pup fights, unfortunately out of season here in Georgia. I effectively resolved the issue for her.
