Coyote hunting in Louisiana

I recently started hunting crows and skunks. I was wondering what kind of call, setup, and gun to use for hunting coyotes. I have a .22 LR, .7mm WSM, and 12 guage. Which should I use? Is hand calling effective? I've seen a lot of coyotes and foxes on my property while deer hunting last season. Does it take long for coyotes to respond to the calling? Thanks for any help.
 
I hunted down in Mississippi a couple of years, If its close up use your shotgun , otherwise that7mm will kill em all the way dead right in to next week. Play the wind ,when calling cross wind works best for me,then sit still and dont call to much 2out of 4-5 minutes and keep an eye down wind,or better yet no cover down wind. just keep trying ,coyotes move and may not be in the area all the time. More stands more critters. Hope this helps (Electronic-Gray Fox pup worked for me)
