Coyote and Red Fox tonight

1st stand we went back to a pasture where we had a pair get down wind of us 5 nights ago and spook off. I went through several howls without a response. I switched to PoundTown and we saw the pair pop up way out on a knoll. They slowly worked in and stopped at about 225 yds. We locked down on them and counted down. Mine hit the ground but got back up and tried to run. I put a couple more in him before he fell for the last time. My buddy either missed or hit his bad, we could not find it. Nice male.
Next stand was a fox hole. This female Red came in at 6 minutes to Bay Bee Cottontail to about 50 yds, we counted down, DRT.

You 2 just keep knocking them over Mike. I guess your retriever would rather you shot the fox at 225 and the coyote at 50 though.
 
I was able to drive the truck out to the coyote and to look for the other one so he only had to make the trip one way.
The fox was only 15-20 yds from the farm road so that was not bad either. A lot of times I go get the truck and the call while he makes the recovery but I do not want to seem like I'm bragging about doing more than my fair share.
