Classic rifles. My dad had an M1 Carbine in Korea and shortly after, in the Formosa actions against the communist Chinese in and around Taiwan. Dad liked the Carbine, and he kept one handy around the farm. It was stoked with Remington soft points and always had a 15-round magazine locked in and ready to go, with two more in that little buttstock mag carrier. Dad loved to shoot the carbine and we burned cases of surplus FMJ up plinking around the place.
