I have about 6 Contenders and about a dozen or so barrels. My favorite hands down is my SS super 14 in 22 Hornet. Very,very accurate. One thing you need to know is to have a short cleaning rod with a well used .38 cal brush with you when you're at the range or hunting. Case separation happens, not necessarily alot but it does happen. The best way to remove the case when the base separates is to push the brush into the case and pull it out. It will save you alot of grief.
