Contender guys i know youre out there.

I have 2 223 14" bullbarrels, a rifle length 221 fireball w/ a Boyds laminate thumbhole stock and a 44 mag hotshot barre.

I'd like to get rid of one of the 223 barrels and get a 221 f.b. pistol barrel if anyone wanted to do some trading....I'd sell it also.. I'm also going to sell or trade the 44 barrel. A 45 long colt/410 barrel be cool and like to get a 30-30 , 30 waters would be good to get for a deer pistol.

Then the stupid in me says I need a 45/70 or 444 and even knowing thats stupid I imagine I'll be getting one yet...lol
I'm moving back to s.e. WY this spring , so I best have enough gun when I get back to some serious pdog shooting!.....and ya can't consider yourself a real pdog guy till ya got what, at LEAST 10 dog guns don't ya.
Contenders are a sickness or deseise I've found.....all the headspace and shimming issues, light strikes misfire and spring replacement issues, plus die adjustments that never end and brass sorting , lockup and lockbolt adjusting a guy goes thru and he still loves the damn thing.....I've sent many a better gun down the road for a lot less issues guy won't tolerate on normal non tinkering type guns......gets about as bad as an inaccurate Ruger beau ceau numba 10, I think they call em

Thanks for pointing it out, but I'd rather shoot the .357 in a wheel gun. A .357 Max might be fun in a Contender, but I'm pretty well set for most of my single shot pistol hunting with my 14" T/C factory .223 Rem and 13" MGM .30-30 Ackley barrels.
