I live in the northeast. New York to be specific. Coyote colors can be quite diverse. I haven’t ever seen one here that had those very doglike facial and body pattern markings. Nor have I ever seen a jet black one. They exist though, as evidenced by the numerous pictures posted frequently. I have however seen a lot of the common variations of blond, red, brown, and basic grey and tawny brown which is most common.
Where the crazy colors and patterns come from in my opinion is probably from some dog cross from who knows when that somehow pops up genetically every so often. It’s just my belief, with no real way to prove it. Others have their beliefs, and that’s 100% fine with me. It just isn’t anything that is worth the energy to debate.
What is the end result anyway? That one person argued their point longer than the other? It’s hard to fathom being so hung up on being the winner of such a trivial point. To keep posting on pretty much the same topic to illicit further banter is also hard for me to wrap my head around.
I have to admit, this subject has been funny at times, or downright insulting at other times. Either way, that comes at the expense of someone’s beliefs. Seems crazy to me, but carry on!
