Most coyotes I've seen were the typical greyish colored ones. My memory is not what it once was. But if I recall correctly, I've seen 6 or 7 black coyotes. Two of those being jet black. The others were a dusky black. All of then had a white underside. I've seen a very large solid brown(coco color) coyote. A solid yellow & a solid red. One coyote which I believe was a hybrid, was solid gold. It had a very stock build with a large shoulder mass. It had a wide broad head, short broad muzzle & little tiny pointed (arrow head) looking ears. I also seen a very large dark rusty/brown colored coyote. That coyote was a 1/3 larger(estimated) than most coyotes I've seen. It's paw print on firm snow was 4" long.
