Charge batteries cold or warm or does it even matter?

Don’t think it matters much. Most chargers will let you know if they’re not the right temp to charge and won’t charge until they get to the desired temps.

Room temp is best. It's still a chemical process that is slowed at low temp.

I chrg when i get home from the hunt and in the unheated garage.

On an episode of the Late Night Vision show the Pulsar rep was on there and said let it warm up first. I don't and haven't had a problem.

Thanks for the advice, I’m not consistent. Usually leave the guns in the car in a cold garage, take the batteries out and charge in the morning.

To clarify, i run rechargable cr123s in the scanner and an anker 6700 pak for the xg50. The scope batteries are always kept f/c by the pak. The anker is over 4yrs old and will still last a winter night.
