This was the 2nd set from a couple nights ago.
Made the stand on the east/west fence line of a pick corn field.
Breeze was from my left, out of the east.
The was a strip of corn still standing that I put the caller on the edge of, about 70 yards out.
Started the stand with several howls, waited, then threw out a couple more.
With in a minute I had a pair on the way, pretty stoked, as it's been a while since I've had a response from howling.
They were kinda lollygagging around, & I was worried they might get downwind, so I fired up a light squeaker sound.
Amazing how that fired them up and sent them into overdrive!!!
OK, now what? Which one? Holy shit, closing fast!! Glad I've got the AR! Don't muck this up !!
I didn't notice till I downloaded the video, that #3 was on the top side of the corn, & bailed into it after shooting #2.
Maybe I should have let the KiYi run a bit longer....
So I tied my personal best of killing on three consecutive stands.
We're in a rain pattern right now, hope to stretch the streak when it breaks.
