Bog shooting chair...opinion!

Just asking if anyone has used the Bog shooting chair with the shooting pod attached?? I know the weight is hearty, but is it usable in a fenceline or blind while calling coyotes?? Thanks for your opinion...

At approximately 22 lbs (+-) it would be a little heavy and bulky to carry very far along with your other gear. I use a 3 legged folding chair with backrest and carbon fiber tripod. Both of those together are less weight than the bog chair. I use a game cart to carry my gear when working the PD fields.

Take a look at the Walking Stool on Amazon. It’s the best calling chair I have ever had, weights nothing easy to open and close, takes hardly and space and holds like 400 pounds. They are expensive but they are so good!!

I purchased one of these this year. It is definitely the best 3 leg stool I’ve tried. Compact and lightweight. My only complaint would be the noisy Velcro strap that holds it folded together. Small gripe, but worth mentioning. It’s literally about 1 second of noise to unstrap it, but noise is noise. I’m probably going to work on a modified cinch strap option for mine at some point. Great seat overall. And yes, the price is pretty tough to bite into!

I use the three leg stools. A ball bungee works to keep it closed. Right now I'm working on building stool height shooting sticks. I've cobbled them up by making extensions these will be one piece.
