Black Hole Weaponry Barrels

What do you guys know about the Black Hole Weaponry barrels? I am building an AR for my wife and I can get a good deal on one for her. Are the barrels accurate or are there any known issues? I did a search, and didn't read anything conclusive one way or e other. Did I miss anything?

I put together this 6x45 last year with one of their barrels and have been really impressed. I would not hesitate using one again. My only complaint with mine was the lack of communication during the process. It was all squared away in the end though.

Smokin',
That setup is pretty close to what I am building for my wife, just swap the handguard out and change caliber. How does the barrel shoot? Any groups to report?

That gun has shot everything well I have tried thru it. I run 75 gr Vmax's out of it @ about 2700fps. It does real well with 70 gr SMK as well. I originally wanted to shoot 65gr VMax's, but they weren't the best performer. The 75gr VMax's are consistent sub-MOA shooters and usually around 3/4.

I have 3 barrels right in 223, 6x45, and 243LBC. 2 more on the way in 20 Prat and 6.8x 6mm. All have been great shooters and don't expect anything different in the future. All have been assembled by RPG guns out of St George Utah. Thanks Ritch!!!!!

Don't have any experience with Black Hole, but I still say that is one good looking rifle!^^^^

Hard to go wrong with BH. I built a 6x45 with a 20" std contour from them a few months back and it's a shooter. Waiting for cooler weather to finish working up loads, but out of about 15 so far, only above moa. It likes 85 SKGs at 2.260 and 87 vmaxes at 2.35 over 8208 xbr.

What does the bottom rifle weigh? Do you remember the weight of the barrel? Thanks.

Sorry, I don't remember, but I can get a weight on it and post it up. It'll be a few days though, I'm out of state right now.

I'm shooting six of the BHW tubes right now. Number seven is waiting for me to send up an upper for delivery and there are two more in the finishing stages at BHW right now for me. I know of at least one more that I will be getting to experiment with. I also intend to have a custom chambering reamer done up for an AR project this winter and BHW will do the barrel for that one.

Do they shoot? Well the PD's I whacked earlier this summer didn't like them and my results at the F-Class matches at 500 yards are getting better and better thanks to my learning curve, The X-Ring is only 1/2 MOA at 500 and I am finding it much more often. I also wil be setting up for a 3 GUN rifle in IPSC with one of their tubes.

I have group after group of 0.6 and less shot with BHW barrels in various flavors at 100 yards using every thing from the light bullets to the heavy 87's in my 6 MM"s.

The new 6X6.8 that are chambering is the cats' butt for accuracy and velocity. An easy wildcat that uses regular dies and is turning out to be a good predator round and will do very well on deer once the rifles get exposure in the field over time. The numbers are there so I know it will work.
